Hey!
Hi, I'm Yogita✌🏼a User Experience Designer from India, currently working on projects for Visa. I come from a Computer Science background. But ever since I can remember, I’ve been curious and intrigued by how people see and interact with the world around them. In 2017, I started my career at a startup, where I was one of the first few members of the team and had the chance to begin my design journey. Everything started to align, and I began as a game level designer.
🍽️😋But I was hungry for more.
My passion for design deepened when, during this time, I happened to attend a meetup for designers. That’s when I decided to pivot to user experience design. It opened up a whole new world, allowing me to explore how users interact with digital products on a deeper level.
After that, I switched jobs and have been fortunate to work with inspiring clients, partners, and managers across industries like education, finance, and gaming. Each one has brought a fresh perspective that continues to influence my approach. I do my best work when blending leadership with hands-on design.
My experience so far includes building designs from scratch, crafting product visions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and presenting narratives and pitches to senior leadership. I lead with curiosity, honesty, and vulnerability—and in doing so, I’ve learned an incredible amount about design, communication, and myself.
🎨Design Philosophy
My journey has shaped my design philosophy to prioritize minimizing cognitive load for users. In a world where people juggle countless products daily, the last thing I want to do is create yet another hurdle. Instead, I strive to craft experiences that invite users in, encouraging them to explore deeper without feeling lost at the front door.
One thing I really love about design is how small details can subtly shape people's experiences. It's not merely about aesthetics; it's about hitting that sweet spot where everything feels just right. Think about it—it's often the little things that make your day!
At the heart of my work is empathy. Keeping in mind that there’s a complex, unique individual on the other side of the screen inspires me to adopt a multi-layered approach to design. My goal is to craft products that make people feel fulfilled and seamlessly weave into their daily lives.

I find inspiration in the world around me. I love to travel and experience different cultures. It's often the small things that make me happy. When I’m not designing, you can find me lifting weights, watching Netflix, and cooking. I’m also a big foodie - but never mind :)
